While the creators tout the benefits from raw honey and raw saturated fat from coconuts -- everything from detoxifying your organs to absorbing nutrients more efficiently -- nutritionists have pointed out that the Kippys ice cream cleanse works out to 820 percent of your recommended daily allowance for saturated fat.
Theres inconclusive evidence about the health benefits of the fat from coconut, nutritionist Keri Gans told Time. However, it is rich in saturated fat, and saturated fat is linked to heart disease, plain and simple.
Whether the ice cream is coconut-based or not, Im very concerned about the variety of nutrients that youre getting or the lack thereof, Brooke Alpert, R.D., founder of B Nutritious., told Fox News.
The creators say you need to pair the cleanse with a regimen of Kundalini yoga to get a double whammy of detoxification. But actual evidence for a link between exercise and detox doesnt exist.
If you start talking about exercising to detoxify, theres no scientific data, Dr. Elizabeth Matzkin, chief of womens sports medicine at Harvard Medical School, told Reuters. The human body is designed to get rid of what we dont need.

Shredded wheat and lots of water. Not as delicious, but more effective.
I started on coconut oil (adding to my diet) in October. By December I had lost 30 lbs, my cholesterol was down, blood sugar was down, and I had more energy.

What kind of ‘dosage’ are you doing each day? 2 tablespoons? 4?
Try making popcorn with coconut oil. Not greasy, at all. In fact, you have to add a bit of melted butter or the salt will just go to the bottom of the bowl.
Try it once, and you will throw away any microwave popcorn you may have in your pantry.

I always hated coconut; but one of my dogs has terrible yeast ear infections. Each time we would take her to the vet and they would do her ears and give her this awful medication. When she finished with the treatments, she would get her yeast infection back. I had heard about coconut oil and it’s possible benefits even for a dog with yeast infections. She has been on it now for several months and no yeast ear infections. So far her ears aren’t even red and her coat is glossy. I also started using it to cook with and use it in all our smoothies. As far as I am concerned so far so good. If I eat the wrong kind of fat I will pay really bad due to a gallbladder operation 2 years ago; but I have never paid with the coconut oil. Also, they never tell you what to really expect after the operation. It can be painful.
Does the nutritionist know what kind of fat is in breast milk, the best nutrition hands down? Nutritionists are idiots when it comes to nutrition. They push low-fat, fat-free, low-cal, sugar-free science experiments instead of real, unprocessed food. Coconut oil is one of the best food items out there.
if your not going to employ humor, your better off not assuming your the smartest person on the board.
how about calorie restriction diet, loads of heavy aerobic exercise, ,steam room and niacin. The steam room and niacin were developed by the infamous L Ron Hubbard and scientifically legit.
All of the above worked for me when I detoxed off a substance I had been abusing for years...not a drug, caffeine, that I had been taking pharmaceutical levels of anything above 500mg can be considered a pharmacuetical level.. Read every legitimate natural health book and regular medical texts to boot.

2 heaping teaspoons a day. I drink 2 cups of coffee. Have the coffee hot and put a level teaspoon per cup into and it will melt. IF YOU MICROWAVE the coffee to warm it DO NOT do it with the oil in the cup, it will superheat the oil and burn you!
The oil floats on the top.....
You can do smoothies (I blend it in a “pina colada” type smoothie (ice, banana, coconut creme, coconut oil))
I also cook with it....
It’s actually not bad to just take by the spoonful, if you’re so inclined. It’s a very light fat....dissolves in your mouth instantly.
The professionals (movie theater concessions) pop with coconut oil (you might find premade packs of the orange-colored solid oil at some commercial restaurant supply stores).
Do what the pros do: pop with coconut oil, and top with real butter.
