More than 2 wheels would keep them from falling over

The Ducati airbag jacket is kind of interesting.

It’s one of those that you have to click on 7 pages, one at a time.

Nothing like a motorcycle passing you at 70mph in a 50mph speed zone around a double yellow line.

“It features a Dainese airbag jacket that wirelessly senses the movements of the bike so that the airbag will deploy in case of crash. It is the first of its kind “

Actually, this is a cool idea.

My last bike was an 850 Norton.
It was just waiting out in my garage for a chance to kill me...

It’s made by Dianese and already in use by a good number of racers in several international series.

Riding a motorcycle on a highway is a great way to remind yourself of your own mortality—especially as trucks pass you.

In our ER we call them donor cycles but there is often too little left to use...

My dad had a Kawasaki 650 - he said every time he’d crank the throttle he swore he could hear the engine say “kill you, kill you” -funny.

Airbag Jacket? Perhaps they should have a little safety video like the airlines use on the LCD display. Then you cannot start the bike until the video completes and the rider acknowledges a secret word spoken during the video.

the airbag sounds like a really cool idea (but car air bags sometimes deploy when not wanted. what would happen to the cyclist if his air bag exhibited Premature Ejaculat...I mean, Premature Deployment?

could he still control the bike?

Wow, that Indian Chief Vintage is a gorgeous retro-modern machine. Not that into the leather tassels and would want to delete those, but make mine Indian Red, lol.

Big rubber bumper, a roll bar and just in case you happen to get swept up in a flash flood...

Harley riders all say that the extreme noise of their bikes is a safety feature (Though why most of them wear the smallest helmet legally mandated, employ the smallest lights possible, and jack their bikes into steering geometries that are insanely unstable, is unclear.).

If noise actually equals safety, then all bikes should be as loud as the F4 Phantom or perhaps a Saturn V rocket engine.

Were we to use a liberal’s mindset, all bikes should be outlawed, because if it saves just one life, it is worth it.
