My thinking is to try to change the narrative and incrementally move God out of the picture (so to speak).
What does matter, though, is The Message. The Message is everything. And this is where Aronofsky is the snake in the garden. Using $135 million, he and Paramount have brilliantly and deviously disguised the Pagan god Gaia as the God of the Old Testament as THE God.Meanwhile, the radio ads claim that only some artistic license was taken and that the filmmakers believe their story to be true to Biblical principles.
I ask you, could anything make Satan happier than something that leads people to believe they are saved when they are not?
The Greenies already think they are “the way, and the truth, and the light”...
“atheist director and co-writer Darren Aronofsky”
Well that’s enough for me to never see it.
I won’t be watching it!
Should we not chalk this up to insensitive ignorance?
Seems Noah is a Biblical story targeted for an audience who does not read the Bible.
Not sure I get the demographic there
I will rent this once at redbox on bluray, rip it, and watch it at some point.
not interested in paying what they are asking at a theater, especially when we already know the end. Let me guess, he climbs in his boat with a bunch of animals.... Story over
It’s a lousy movie and not brilliant on any level or for any purpose.

Haven’t seen it yet, but looking forward to.
It’s a movie, not a documentary.
in an otherwise scathing review I read yesterday was the line that the actors individual performances were good. In an otherwise panned movie, I guess that is something to Crowe about. And Hermione too.
Warning label: Any similarity between this movie and the biblical story of Noah is purely accidental, except for the name of the title character and his sons.
See also Ben Shapiro’s “9 Problems” review; this from the Christian post: http://www.christianpost.com/news/noah-movie-review-deconstructing-noahs-arc-godawful-storytelling-117044/ ; this rather witty and tongue in cheek: http://www.patheos.com/blogs/churchofthemasses/2014/03/the-utter-embarrassing-mess-of-noah-and-why-everybody-is-lying-about-it/
There is another quit sarcastic review I read Thursday where in the author compared Noah to Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter series. He concluded that it would have been better and less offensive for Aronofsky to had made Noah as a sci-fi film rather than as somewhat “biblical.”
Big wool. Another stupid review by a person who does not like movies ..I wonder if the idiot saw the movie. Even Glenn Beck admitted to not seeing the movie while spewing nonsense ..that was embarrassing for him which is good. He needs to be called out on his lies and distortions when they happen.

That's all the recommendation I need not to see this movie. I'll go see God is Not Dead. Now that's a worthwhile movie, I've heard!
Gen 6:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
Gen 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
The men of renown are the product of the cohabitation of fallen angel and humans. The Nephalim had infected the blood line which Christ was to come, in all the earth except for Noah and his three sons. There are other names for these products of man and angel talked about in Deuteronomy when the second eruption happened. Numbers 13 talks about Caleb encouraging his people to take the land where "great men of stature" reside and who eat up the inhabitants of the land.
This is why God commanded them to kill all inhabitants of the land, the women, children, animals they were all corrupted and had to be killed off. What an awesome scary movie it could have been 9-17' freaks eating people. There are skeleton's out there that have been found, but are being hidden from the public.
