Maybe its passing through the atmosphere would produce a boom that would make the Chelyabinsk seem tiny. That along with the burst of X-rays as the air hits the event horizon.

Hey - we all had a semester in black holes in high school, along with that semester on property taxes and the 3 semesters on understanding insurance.
