Baby's first ballot! George P. Bush debuts son Prescott
The Daily Mail Online ^ | 3-5-14

The Bush family doesn't waste any time indoctrinating the next generation into the world of politics.

George H.W. Bush's baby great-grandson Prescott joined his father George P. Bush in the voting booth yesterday as daddy runs for Texas land commissioner.

Baby Prescott was swept up by his mom Amanda just as dad went into the booth - but he still got an 'I Voted' sticker.

Let’s hope the baby will have a conversion experience, reject his family’s RINO heritage and become a Ted Cruz conservative.

RE: 6

1994? Eh, at ~17 years old I'd just chalk it up to 'youthful exuberance' or being a dumbass. Young men less than 20 years old do dumb things. If they are still doing them after they are 20, there is a problem.

Only Texas can stop the Bush Dynasty...I am counting on them to do so. No family should continually be elected to public office. I know the Rats do it, which is exactly why we should not.

First time I’ve seen this birth announcement.

If Prescott Bush is a “2” on a publicity scale of 1 to 10, William Jefferson Webster “Lil Bubba” Clinton-Mezvinsky will be an “11”.

I gotta say I am getting pretty tired of Bushes and Clintons and Farrows.

Not to mention the Barrymores.

that’s the Cohen’s (mom & dad’s) interpretation of events

I read other sources that claimed the Cohen daughter’s breakup with GPB was not as complete as the parent’s were told and believed.

I don’t know whose right. I do know we usually do not get all the facts in these stories.

Just sayin; not claiming to be a George Bush fan either; I’d rather see ALL the U.S. political dynasties kept out of office - the Kennedys, Cuomos, Clintoons and the Bushes.

But, I don’t know that the Smoking Gun would be a primary source I’d go to to form an informed opinion on any individual.

I sympathize with you...but surely you must realize that Bush Derangement Syndrome seems to be even more deeply rooted here than among the Dems.

Posters here seem infuriated that the people of Texas, who live in his state and area and obviously know him both as a candidate and as a person, exercised their right to vote for somebody named “Bush.” I hope someday we can all move past this, because it’s getting really tiring.

There was a lot to criticize about some of the things Bush did, and a lot to praise about others, as with almost anybody (except Obama, who has yet to do anything praiseworthy). Even in the case of Obama, however, once he’s out of office, I never expect to mention his ugly name again, unless he continues to meddle in politics. The latter is something neither GW nor his father ever did, btw; they went away quietly, although you’d never know it from the posters here.

And yes, the baby is cute - very philosophical looking!

Actually had a Hispanic friend tell me once that getting into trouble with the police over a girl seriously enhances a guy’s street cred with fellow Hispanics.

Purely Fyi. Not to be taken as an endorsement of that philosophy.

Even the Dallas paper that endorsed George P. Bush said he didn't have the credentials for the office. Their recommendation was against the other candidate.

Telling me where he stands on national security, abortion, guns, et al does nothing to inform me as a voter when the office is land commissioner.

Same with one of the Agriculture Commissioner candidates.

Of course Kinky Friedman was running on a "legalize pot" platform knowing that he wouldn't be able to affect that change from the office of ag commish.

Yep. Crawling into my daughter’s bedroom? I hear you.

This guy will tip their canoe for good. It is just a matter of time. Check the police report at the link.

I am sure he was crawling half dressed into his EX girlfriend’s house at 4:00 AM for skittles. He was just a yoof at an elite university. At the time though it was described as ‘burglary’ rather than ‘youthful exuberance’.

This one will be fun to watch.
