Perhaps it is unfair and silly for me to think this way, especially since Prescott might be an okay sort...but any body named “Prescott” running for office sounds just too high born and almighty for even this conservative to vote for....”Ohhh Prescott dahhhling, could you pahhhss the cahhhviahhhr please?”
I understand that and I don’t mean to imply that I don’t like G. W. The elder Bush and Mrs. Barbara are to liberal for me. However, I just like to see everyday people elected. Someone new I think helps keep the process honest.
But I do defer to the people of Texas, it is ultimately their choice.
Named after great-great-grand-daddy and Nazi financier Prescott Bush.
If he is confronted about it by the press, he should say just what you said..”I was 17, in love, and a complete dumbass...I would have sung under her window with a mandolin if I thought I could get her back...” That would completely change the conversation and some romantic liberal chicks just might go “ahhhhhhhh” and vote for him!
That is always possible and if it did happen we should not let his last name be an automatic rejection.
Ugh.
Ho him...maybe the baby will grow brain cells and become a TeaParty member.
Prescott was the name of Prescott Bush, who was the US Senator of Connecticut in the 50s. He was defeated by Abe Ripusoff in 1960 IIRC.
“Prescott was the name of Prescott Bush”
Pahhhhssss the cahviahhhr, Prescott dahhhling!
