Seventeen and a half years. Not a flicker of global warming. The RSS satellite record, the first of the five global-temperature datasets to report its February value, shows a zero trend for an impressive 210 months. Miss Brevis, send a postcard to Mr Gore:

So far I’m up to 13 degrees today. The average high in March here is 47 degrees.
And yet they still spin it so that they are correct and we are not (and by they I mean global warming advocates).
Also, have you noticed that when someone disagrees with global warming, they are attacked in the most personal terms? It’s not a case of “You just don’t understand; let’s have a discussion so I can show you my data”. It’s “Your mother wears Army boots”. It reminds me of how the Catholics dealt with apostates during the Inquisition.
I hope the satellite doesn’t own any Apple stock.

The talking point, if I may propose one, for use when discussing AGW with a Consensus Member, is to ask how they can explain that there were ZERO models that predicted this “pause” (nor any that explain it after the fact, either).
Simply stated, their entire belief in AGW (or human caused climate change if you will) is based on models that do not explain nor can correctly model the prior 16 years. Why do they continue to believe in these incorrect computer models?
