Ha. Force of habit. Of course I meant CO.
Please see the last line in my post #36. His tactics were awful.
No doubt looking for a rug to sweep this under..
County deputies here average 45k plus more beni’s than the rest of us get. This is rural N.C. Down the road in York county S.C. a deputy shot a 72 year old man that was ordered out of his car. He complied ,grabbed his cane and was rewarded with a sw 40 hollow point. I trust the police about as much as our elected officials.
Huh?
I do. will post soon
!
If I have a CO2 leak NOBODY is going to force Me out of MY HOUSE because that means the Beer Keg is losing pressure and I'm finding that leak ASAP!
Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.TN Constitution:
— William Pitt
Article 1, Section 2.
That government being instituted for the common benefit, the doctrine of nonresistance against arbitrary power and oppression is absurd, slavish, and destructive of the good and happiness of mankind.

That YouTube video said it’s private.
See I think this is where the discussion goes wrong. The police aren’t public servants. They serve the govt primarily and its interests. When the govt is corrupt the police become nothing more than mob enforcers.
Modern police forces stem, in part, from the slave “paddy wagons” of the 1800s.
Any wonder why we are treated like uppity slaves if we engaged in “non-government employee approved” behavior?

And yet hasn't the Supreme Court ruled that law enforcement have no duty to protect any individual?
What about the cop's duty to observe the rights of bystanders? Don't those count?
There certainly is such a think as interfering with a police officer performing his "duties", however this isn't one of them and thus the mention of such is irrelevant. The man recording the police should have been left alone.
first off..
i believe in the constitution AS WRITTEN..
with that in mind...
with a co2 leak in my home, the only person being endagered is myself..
do the government authorities have the right to remove me from my home...
the constitution says NO....
as a matter of fact, every single argument you bring up has a simple question...
does the constitution grant this right to the federal government..
because if this right is not granted to the feds EXCLUSIVELY in the constitution, then that right is reserved by the states and the people respectively (read and understand the constitution, and this will become crystal clear)..
wanna know my bitch, and why i will no longer align with the republican party???
just ask the people you are arguing with if the feds have a right to infringe upon the people the powers they were not granted with...
this includes..
EPA
DEA
IRS
HSA
and a host of many others....
and while you are at it, please tell me where in the constitution the feds can:
tell you what you can smoke..
tell you what you can marry..
tell you what you can have sex with..
tell you what you can drink..
tell you what you can eat..
tell you what kind of firearm you can possess (this is a trick question, and I know the answer, but this is another discussion)..
regardless of what you think of or believe of the proceeding questions, one thought remains clear..
when did personal thoughts, beliefs or standards become the law of the land???
libs can propose laws that rob you of your rights..
so called conservatives do the same thing..
In this case, however, there is an actual incident occurring. And police action is being taken. I've been in street-wide brawls. You have no idea who is with whom and who is on who's side. I've seen innocent bystanders hit with flying bottles/debris. The smart thing to do is clear the street. It's a lawful order. But people don't listen, and that's how they get hurt. And then everyone blames the cops for not taking control. It's lose/lose. Especially when you have hot-head cops being idiots.
