Listen, I am very respectful and appreciative of law enforcement. But respect goes two ways. Any man/person who comes up behind a woman (especially with earbuds in) and grabs her arm/hand from behind is acting in a very intimidating manner. Instinct alone is to defend one’s self. Maybe you don’t think like that, being a man. A woman should.
A law enforcement officer should know that.

I'm pretty sure that the Founding Fathers didn't intend for American Mundanes to have to lick the boots of law enforcement on command.
There weren't even a whole lot of law enforcement types for many years of the early Republic, and they certainly didn't have the attitude of Respect Mah Authoritay that our ever-multiplying DonutBlimps have now.
