Wonderful pictures! They look more like paintings than photos. She is very talented.

The lady is a helluva photographer.
Suspect she could do almost as well with an old Instamatic. With all of this, it is the picture taker, not the camera.

She is. And how Blessed they are living in a place like that. Magical is a perfect word for it.
Thanks, Twotone!

Did you have babies in Russia before?Perhaps in a past life. ...I had babies in rural USA and that was probably better, but I'm not much of a photographer.

"
Beautiful pics with a touch of photoshop."
Yes, take nothing away from her, except the impression that she is a novice. I suspect she used a Lensbaby for the "Lomography" effect, a style any Russian would be well familiar with, and that she used something beside than the camera's built in flash. Her separation of her subject from the background by her control of depth of field tells me she used more than a kit lens. My guess is that we are looking at a 50mm prime at f1.4 or maybe even f1.2.

What an eye for a scene she has!

Nice but in these days of Photoshop, you wonder if these are the actual images, or Photoshop enhanced?

While the pictures are indeed beautiful, I saw an underlying sense of depression in them.....But then again, that’s what life in Russia is.
