(((Shelayne))) Hi :)

Good to see CJ circling the drain. He really needs to go.

They had me worried for a second.

whew... dodged another bullet there.

Yep. But unless someone really screws up next week, this will probably be Pinky's last reprieve. Top 5 for her isn't bad though.

Finally, he’s gone. I really liked him in the beginning but he just sucked week after week.

Wonder if the white gf had enough of him too. It's been two or three weeks since she's been in the audience.

Hey, jonny. Still no favorites over here. I’ll concentrate and see if I can pick somebody.

I have to say I was also surprised with Django Unchained. The “conservative” media didn’t like all the n-words and thought it reflected badly on us. I didn’t see it because all of the racists were 100% democrats in that movie. As far as the “shootout”(’s) factor I’d have to give it a 9.675 Guns, please forgive my Olympic scoring.

The shoot out factor in “Tombstone” was very good but it’s an 8.9 Gun rating at best. Yeah the end was good but not very realistic. Who charges all those guns running through a shallow river?

As I see it,

“True Grit” shootout is 9.710 Guns.

“The Shootist” shootout is 9.735 Guns, but only because of his compelling relationship with Lauren Bacall.

“Unforgiven” shootout is an easy 9.80 Guns but he had the drop on them so...

“Open Range” shootout is a 9.875 Guns because it was very realistic especially when the town’s people overcame their fears and fought back because of the inspiration of others. Dare I say, Duvall’s best movie, but that’s hard to judge.

I had to leave the thread and show suddenly last night when my oldest came upstairs to watch Britain’s Got Talent with me. He doesn’t like country so I stopped right after my baby Meatloaf. He admitted Caleb is great.

It was fun watching Simon Cowell and the crazy acts at the UK auditions. I don’t know where my son finds the show but we watched the whole series last year and will do so again. It’s so funny seeing how patriotic and everything, but a different country. The people are So Honored to hopefully play for the Queen. That’s their “win a live Vegas show.” I think if the prize on America’s got talent were to play for Obama no one would show up.

Now I’m back to finish last night’s show and enjoy the results show unspoiled as I am.

She sounded exactly like studio Grace Slick.

No, she did not. She did sound pretty good, but she ruined many of the lines by singing them as if they were lyrics devoid of meaning. For that song, you have to be forceful, you have to be practically peering into the audience’s eyes, really showing them how they REALLY WANT somebody to love, and it should have a slightly malicious air to it. She did nothing subtle or connecting with it.

She just stands there and sings. She doesn’t feel the song or the audience. I’m taking maybe she just isn’t very smart. She is blowing this chance, and she has a fantastic voice. I’m sad for her.

Sam dressed super country in an inner city wool cap. Or is he a country skier? Still the one? He is just singing lyrics. The song doesn’t fit him at all. He is so low key. Maybe I’m just a few decades too old to appreciate him? Even when the ferlies scream after he is finished, he just stands there uncomfortably. He doesn’t give them any attention, he doesn’t smile, he just looks uncomfortable.

I think the judges are paid to pump cotton candy up these contestants.

“Do you feel that way [cant stop thinking how cute ] about Keith and me?” Harry to jlo. Probably not; they are both over 21.

I would cancel sprint if I had it just because of these stupid ads. Framily.

How can I get a grumpy cat?! Is it a breed? How do they get them? I think I might need one.

I wanted that miniature giraffe from the commercials too.

Omgosh.

Caleb for the win.

I looooove this guy. He is adorable and strong and really HIMSELF. He and his growth these weeks is the best thing about this show.

He can almost sing anything. He is stunningly good. He has his own style.

Gary Busey commercial is so funny. It reminds me of all the ads he made with his teams on celeb apprentice.

I think the reason he says hello so deeply to his pants, is that most of the time he looks down to greet them and they aren’t there.

After the commercials they play a clip of Caleb doing his song -— and I’d actually like them to stay with the clip and show the whole song again. Maybe I should start buying his stuff.

Ohhhh heck no. I love this Elvis / willie N song. Nooooooo, Alex CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO SING THIS.

and yet he is. When they sung it, you knew they meant it, they had wives they totally screwed around on and took for granted. ALEX IS SINGING WORDS. He doesn’t mean a single one. He never did keep any woman satisfied. He didn’t sing any of the good parts of the song either. Ugh.

His voice is good. They will probably loooove him. But it sucked as far as the song should be sung. Harry feels very lucky to have heard it.

Beam me up now, Scotty. On this planet they reward the weak and criticize the strong.

Never mind, Scotty. I can stay down here because Keith Urban feels like I do about this performance. If it weren’t for Keith Urban I’d get back on the ship into interplanetary space.

To borrow a line from Simon Cowell: “You and Country Music go together like chocolate ice cream and an onion.”

Omgosh, Jonny. Last night on Britain’s Got Talent, Simon said about an act “you go together like strawberry ice cream and a sausage.” ROFL!!

I would actually like to see Taylor Swift in concert. I have grown to really like her and especially her songwriting. I am impressed with her.

I don’t know why anyone on this show does a slow song unless the producers compel them to.

Two songs I loved on this show: Cookie doing “hello” and Adam Lambert doing “mad World.” If you’ve got the personality and chops, it works.
