I ordered a pair of shoes from Online Boot Store last week and they haven't shipped them yet but they have charged my credit card. I called customer service today to check on the order. They put me on hold and said I was number 7 in the queue. Then they slowly counted down until I was number 1 in the queue. Then they came on and said: Due to large call volume they couldn't take my call. I emailed them and told them to cancel the order.
Our local Pawn shop had a box full of probably 25 or 30 of them last time I was there. Don’t remember the exact price but seems it was around $70-80.
Your best bet is to contact your credit card company. They will do the work for you.
Sorry to hear that about Bob’s. Usually I read rave reviews about them.
Oh boy - sorry - that would be Bud’s - big difference! Sorry, coffee didn’t take yet this year... ; )
Did you have reason to want the boots when you ordered them? This is a bad few weeks for massive orders/shipping issues to gum up the works. I hope the cancellation doesn’t turn into a fiasco with the order showing up “by surprise” and then going into revolving-door mode until the right people have the boots and the credit info is also straight.
While no company is perfect, Amazon is about as close as you can get. I too have Amazon Prime. Awhile back I was promised that an order of mine would be delivered on a Tuesday. Tuesday came, and no delivery.
When I called to inquire about it, Amazon gave me an extra month of Prime free for my troubles. That's treating a customer right.
I have to agree ...always get good service!!!
I wouldn't call the week of Christmas thru New Years with a weekend in between typical..........
When they arrived, I asked them to take it into my basement and one of the guys said no, it was too heavy. I then offered them $35 (I was going to tip them that anyway) and they did it.
I then contacted Amazon and complained and Amazon refunded me the $150 shipping fee...........that was good of them.
I finally was able to get through to customer service after no replies to my emails. The CSR checked with the warehouse and came up with a tracking number. Turns out the shoes were shipped on December 30th and they did not send a shipping information email as promised. Scheduled delivery is January 7th.
