That’s what happens when you mortgage the future to get one player, that guy you gave up 4 draft picks to get becomes the whole of your team. It’s funny that year after year after year the teams that will be in contention are the ones that trade to GET draft picks not GIVE, and yet 3/4 of the league is more than willing to give away draft picks in that desperate quest to get the “missing link”. If you want to know who will be good next year the first thing to look at is how many draft picks they have, any team sitting on 10 or more will be good.
I think top draft picks are way overrated.
