The Pats are the classic example of keeping your team successful by hoarding draft picks. Belichick is always more than happy to trade you a first round this year for a second this year and next. Niners have put themselves on the same path, I think they’re holding at least 13 for the next draft. It’s such a painfully obvious system, and yet so few of the teams bother to notice.
