Any experienced poker player will tell you that if it *can* happen, it *will* happen at some point (usually to them). They will then go on to tell you about any particular bad beats they remember getting (and they’ll remember a bunch :). Best bet is to walk away quietly :)
Nothing left to do, they broke the game. I guess it’s back to Go Fish or something after that.
That’s a sick beat.
It’s funny, as someone that has traded stocks for a long time, all I remember are the big losers.
The 586 million lottery going on now has someone having a better chance of getting 3 holes in one in a row than winning the lottery.
1 in 2.7 billion?!
Heck, that happens almost half the time there’s a poker game in a movie or crime drama or sit-com. Of course, cheating often involved.

“The 586 million lottery going on now has someone having a better chance of getting 3 holes in one in a row than winning the lottery.”
Not true. I would win that lottery three times before I could get a single hole in one.
I had 4/5th’s of a Royal Flush playing Let It Ride at the Golden Nugget about 20 Years ago.
The guy sitting on my left had the Queen of Hearts I needed.
Close only counts in Horseshoes and Hand Grenades.

How many deck of cards are used here?

“Thats a sick beat.”
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
In a very real way, it was not. Phillips had already made a straight after the turn. Mabuchi only had three aces at that point. Mabuchi was behind before the river.
Bump
Actually, horseshoes, hand grenades, and nuclear warfare. :=)

I have no holes in one yet in my illustrious 30 year golf career. Closest I’ve been was less than a foot. That’s like getting 4 out of 6 numbers...LOL.
