Snowstorm Expands: To Impact More Than 110 Million

Heavy snow and travel disruptions will spread from the Midwest and into the Northeast as the day progresses on Saturday.
The snowstorm will span more than 1,000 miles. Snow will fall on and impact every major city and rural area from St. Louis to Boston, including Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and New York City. The area encompasses about 110 million people.

Well, actually ... here on Free Republic, with some ... “snow in December” is definite proof that there is no such tuning as Global Warming ... LOL ...
For the record, I sincerely believe in Global Warming and Global Cooling, seeing that it’s been proven beyond all doubt that it’s true. It’s only “Anthropogenic Global Warming” that is whacky science ... :-) ...

Local forecast is 4-12” depending on where in the state you are. SE shore is lowest, NW hills greatest. Most of the state is in the 6-8” band.
Changing to sleet and freezing rain then back to snow after midnight. Gets heavier between 6pm and midnight.
