I hope they stand fast in their demands and threaten a strike.

I hope Boeing moves it anyway, but offers the mechanics new positions in the new factory if only to teach Washington state.

Does their offer include employees taking over and making buses or something?

If I ran Boeing I'd move every bit of production to South Carolina.Steady work at very good pay...but *no* Marxist unions allowed.

Let’s see, strike threatening leftist machinists.
Well, since they work with machines and small items to attach things, I think I’ll just say “SCREW you”.
I hope that I NAILED the problem on the head with my RIVETTING commentary.
Now, if they were members of the Electricians union, I would say, “Oh what a SHOCKING” affair, but it’s not that serious yet.

I don't keep up with all union antics.
Are these machinists in the same union as those former Twinkie bakers? ;>/

I hope they move anyway. Those machinists, or at least the ones in Fort Worth that worked at General Dynamics . . . were pretty rough when they went on strike. Nails in the road, trying to tip over cars . . . violent bunch.

I hope Boeing tells the union to go piss up a rope.

"Within the last few minutes, local news is reporting that Aircraft Machinists Union 751 has offered a new proposal to Boeing, one would guess to try to convince Boeing not to move the manufacture of the 777-X out of state." If I were on the Boeing Negotiating Team I would issue a press release stating the Company has decided to rename the 777-X to the 777-Twinkie.
