John Boehner: Conservative Groups' Reaction to Budget Deal Is 'Ridiculous'
National Journal ^ | 12/11/2013 | Matt Berman

House Speaker John Boehner went off on outside conservative groups Wednesday morning for pushing against the new budget deal.

"They're using our members and they're using the American people for their own goals," he said. "This is ridiculous."

Several key conservative groups are against the sequester relief within the new budget deal.

"Though conservatives support more spending restraint, the discretionary spending limits defined in the Budget Control Act represent a promise to the American people to marginally slow the growth of government," reads a letter signed by the heads of Heritage Action, the Family Research Council, and the American Conservative Union. Heritage Action's Michael Needham penned an op-ed in USA Today on Tuesday calling the deal "a step backward."

This deal increases taxes now, increases spending now and promises some cuts in the rate of spending increases sometime in the future. Boy, what could conservative objections be? /s

The most incompetent set of leadership in either party in modern history.

I read a great article by Sheriff Jim R. Schwiesow, Ret. written February 4, 2011 from "NewsWithViews.com" and here's part of it.
Read Compromise Is a Dirty Word for Club for Growth.

We will never unify under "Establishment Republicans" .
"Establishment Republicans" have more in common with the Democrats, than they do with Conservatives.
The weak candidates are "Establishment Republicans", weak on national security, amnesty for illegals, abortion, and government spending.
"Establishment Republicans" scream "COMPROMISE".
And people who study the Bible know that COMPROMISE almost always leads to destruction.
These "Establishment Republicans" are being weeded out, one by one, and slowly but surely, the TEA Party is taking over.

Take a good long look at where "Establishment Republicans" ALWAYS take us.

When he was pushing that broom in his father’s bar, who would have dreamed that enough stupid OH voters would make it possible for him to be pushing his crumby ideas as Speaker of the House?

This cry-baby is afraid of losing his post if more Tea Party members show up in the House after the 2014 elections.....and that is to be worked and prayed for.

Primary this incoherent traitor to the country, who lives to facilitate ever increasing Marxism, because it pays well.

God, deliver us from the Boehner-Cantor treachery.

In D.C., power sharing is much more important than any conservative notion of fiscal discipline. As long as the Jameson’s keeps flowing, Boehner is on board with the hog trough budget plan.

Boner has been fundamentally transformed:

"Elected to Congress in 1990, John quickly became a voice for reform. First, he adopted a "no earmarks" policy that he carries with him to this day. And as part of the "Gang of Seven," he and fellow lawmakers took on the House establishment – Democrats and Republicans. Together, they successfully closed the scandal-riddled House Bank, uncovered "dine-and-dash" practices at the House Restaurant, and exposed drug sales and cozy cash-for-stamps deals at the House Post Office.

In 1994, John was instrumental in crafting the landmark Contract with America. One of the Contract's cornerstones - the Congressional Accountability Act, which required lawmakers to live under the same rules and regulations as the rest of the nation – bears the unmistakable print of his drive to change the way Congress works."

Support Eric Gurr to oust John Boehner in OH-8

Also, press your Representative to NOT support Boehner for Speaker.

If Boner could talk his way out of a paper bag,he would be able to bury the liar in Chief and have the Republicans bury them in the midterms, but no the jackass comes out and slamms the groups who put him in the position he always cries about, what a freaking looser

You bet. It's clear that the only concern of both parties now is just good press and reelection. Responsible governing doesn't even enter the picture.
