Oh man - now you’ve done it. That all sounds so good. Then you had to go and mention cornbread. Now I’m a gonna have ta make some corn bread.LOL
Speaking of cornbread, have you ever had spoonbread? I remembered it from my youth, so decided to try it last winter. Kind of cobbled two recipes together and got an amazing spoonbread. It was very like a souffle, and very delicate in flavor. I do wish I had written down what I did as I made it, LOL, but I always “cook” like that.
It’s even better the next day.
