Ted Cruz – The Paul Revere of American Medical Care
PJ Media ^ | 10/18/2013 | Janine Turner

Liberal networks rejoiced about the end of the recent government shutdown, singing the praises of Obama. They salivated, licking their chops, as they hunted Republicans spear in hand. The conservative networks, with debt clock displayed, worried about the consequences of the bill that re-opened the government, tossing an obligatory jab at Ted Cruz. Though the conservative networks were more mild mannered and on target, both contingencies neglected a critical aspect of the event — what was in the bill? No one seemed to know at the time. One news anchor suggested that the final bill contained income validation for those applying for Obamacare subsidies. Yet, when he asked the veteran reporter what else was in it, the reporter replied with “uhmmm, I don’t know….” and deftly changed the subject.

Yes, new tax plans need to be tackled, but so does Obamacare. Why did so many Republicans abandon this truth?

Because the GOP-E don't want to address any of these issues. They only want to make it look as if they're interested in them.

All the GOP-E wants is to get their cut of lobbyist money, get invited to the best DC parties and screw all the local whores they can.

They’re not interested in power, they would actually have to lead, and stop whining about the Democrats and the Tea Party.

what was in the bill?

You have to pass it to know what's in it.

Alexander Hamilton wrote in the Federalist that the states, which would be represented in the federal government by the senators, would sound the alarm if the government got out of control. The 17th Amendment stripped the states of this right. Ted Cruz and his team sounded the alarm for the states and for the people of the United States.

Ted Cruz and Mark Levin are tight. It wouldn't surprise me if Cruz delivers a bombshell speech in the senate that explains why we must return to a senate of the states.

The 2700 page Bill was just an outline,it wasn’t written when they passed it that’s why Pelosi said you have to pass it to see what’s in it.The 30,000 pages written since then contain the specifics.Of course Obama adds and subtracts on a whim,or a campaign contribution.Unless the younger generation are smarter than our fathers and grandfather’s,they are going to be stuck with their equivalent of Social Security,a ponzi scheme that they pay for for everyone else but won’t see themselves.
They say is not enough young people don’t sign up to subsidize the older and sicker people Obamacare will collapse, don’t count on it,your taxes will be raised to pay for it.

LOL! Yeah, I know she’s a big time conservative but I guess I really didn’t care what she was saying. I was distracted. :)

Interesting to call Ted Cruz a modern Paul Revere. It is apt as he has the clarion call.

I was thinking only yesterday that Cruz and Lee were the modern Davy Crockett and Jim Bowie at the Alamo!
