...which is why I think we have a bit of foolery going on here...with dear teacher trying to be ironically witty and urbane...and failing miserably, in my estimation...

If I were her Mom I would. My impression was that she had been taught to reflexivly blame US for everything from killing Indians to oppressing people and causing wars.

It has always been my understanding that the plethora of jet fuel is what led to the compromising of the steel girders, bringing the towers down.
Anyone else believe this is the case or could those buildings collapse from a (huge) explosion and a normal fire (wo jetfuel)?
I only know what I read, which is mostly lies, and appreciate any informed responses.

If the planes were out of gas, then there would have been no explosion when they impacted. THAT was what burned.
