Sure does… I remember the efforts in the early 90’s trying to transition from the DEC-based mini environment to the “newfangled” PC/LAN systems.

I enjoyed working with OS/2, but it really had no chance in hell of going anywhere.

Likewise. What a bucket of bolts NT was from day one.
It is a wonder Cutler and his team stayed to finish NT.
About the only good thing with that system was the extensive
documentation that of course was produce on a UNIX machine using TROFF.
