“As apposed to say...Ignorant superstition.”
apposed means ‘like’, or the same, or the ‘opposite of the opposite’.
You just equated science with ignorant superstition, which would be appropriate in the case of say, climate science or evolution.

I never heard anyone claim, Science knows everything.I should rephrase: "Science is infallible. Until it isn't."

It is refreshing that something that was thought impossible, when it shows itself to be otherwise, is acknowledged.
It's a nice counterbalance to insisting that something that does not exist and has never demonstrated itself, does.

Theories are hard. Dogma is easy.

Accepted Theory Says "It Can't Exist" The way science works, is when you see something that violates theory, that means the theory is wrong and you need to figure out a new theory.
Well, it's the way it works outside of some fields like Climate Theory.

Binary systems are common. It could be that two proto-stars were orbiting each other, and then the inner one hit a critical point to become a star. The other is like Jupiter, a large might have been, orbiting far away.

Thanks!
Science is a method, not a body of knowledge, and knowledge is therefore not fixed and immutable.

Yes I have heard that we (our sun) might even have a binary, it just hasn’t been discovered yet

I never heard anyone claim, Science knows everything. If you go to Reddit, you will see claims like this all over the place. And if you go on Facebook you may actually see that one of your 'friends' belong to a group called "I F--king Love Science"--I kid you not.
One of my friends?
I've never been to Reddit or Facebook slick.
I understand sites you visit like facebook are for teens and easily led sheep. The feds and CIA indicated it's one of their best sources for roping dopes.
Once again, I never once heard anyone claim, Science knows everything.

given your comments to me, I think I know who you mean.
So anyone who questions science is a "hater"?
Is that very scientific?
