To be accurate the doctor compared the abortion shot to the flue shot, not abortion itself to getting a flue shot. Not being accurate is how credibility and the argument is lost. Argument is much more effective when logical fallacies aren’t committed, in this case the article author imagined up a strawman - that the doctor directly compared abortion to a flu shot.

EATH.Interestingly, my born-at-28-weeks baby is getting her things together to go to Texas A&M, where she got an unheard of out-of-state free ride by being a National Merit Scholar, having a darn-near perfect SAT and ACT, being Valevictorian, knocking out almost 3 semesters of college at the local junior college, and being nationally ranked in the 400 meter.
She wants to be a doctor and save premature babies like her and victims of abortion.
So much for being a “flu” shot.
I saw one website not long ago, where an abortionist was quoted as saying that of course, the fetus feels pain. He would never tell his “patients” that, because it would “complicate an already difficult decision.”
Never mind that it is because of the incorrect belief that a fetus is neither alive nor human that most women who have abortions decide to get pregnant in the first place. Gee, telling women the truth might cause them to make a decision that is less lucrative for the abortionist.

this is disgusting. the most “humane” way to kill a viable baby? when a dog is put down with anesthesia, its “humane.” when a viable baby moves to escape pain, and scissors are inserted into his skull, it’s murder
