With the news as it has been of late in this screwed up country, I keep a puke bucket with me at all times.

Goodbye to the man who is likely responsible for saving more lives than any other politician of his generation. Remind me again how many babies have been aborted every year since this man has served in the Senate?

This completely demonstrates what Fox has become.... nothing more than another NBC/CBS/ABC network....
As to Frank Rottenburg?
Free Republic has a long tradition of being respectful even to our opponents on obituary threads. Some of those opponents were honorable men. Patrick Moynihan springs to mind as an example.
However, there are some who are SO heinous, SO anti=-Constitutional, SO statist, SO traitorous, that they deserve nothing but scorn, even in death.
Ted Kennedy was one such man.
Frank Lautenberg is another. I spit on his grave and celebrate his death. May he rot in Hell.
So, Frank Lautenberg died?

Julie Roginsky ... was previously the Capitol Hill communications director for Senator Jon Corzine.
She sure knows how to pick the losers.

Any network has to have people on to represent divergent viewpoints. It gets dull otherwise. It's not like they speak for the network.
Free Republic has a long tradition of being respectful even to our opponents on obituary threads.
Good tradition. Roginsky worked for Lautenberg. She's part of the state machine. She's expected to write stuff like this.
Just to point that out, make a few fact-based critical observation on whatever Lautenberg may have done, and move on ought to be enough.

It was seriously hard to be in the senate that long and be so hated and do so little.John Kerry comes to mind.
