Thanks to Rosie in Lake Havasu, Arizona, for asking the question.
It's inspiring to see and hear a 16 year old with that much intelligence and potential,
be able to see through the LIBERAL CRAP spewed by the so-called education system.
And thank you, Rush, for sharing your wisdom to the masses who will listen, and act upon your knowledge.

I wonder how a leftie like Steve Jobs felt about Rush being such an Apple fan. I know Limbaugh has said before that he knows they hate him at Apple, but he still likes their products. Which is understandable, since their products are good.

Lefties are usually very cheap.
He probably loved the free advertisements, but hated the conservative connection.
It took me decades before I finally got away from Windows.
But since I did, my virus problems have dropped to zero.

I have told my husband for years... Windows *is* a virus.

Between 1998 and 2002 my soon to be ex-wife was in college getting her Computer Science BS Degree, and she told me that Windows was released as an outline, full of holes, and updates were just revisions filling the security violations that Windows had suffered.
She said Windows wanted those virus problems, so they could sell more programs, and newer versions of Windows.

In that era, I was a user of OS/2, originally the successor to WinDos by both IBM and Microsoft (MS). As a stable platform, it had it in spades and was virus resistant as well. Problem was that IBM lost interest and MS saw the opportunity to ‘rule’ the operating system niche and went for Win95 and its successors.

While IBM was still selling OS/2, the rumor was that MS would send out people trained to crash the system so that the displays would always show malfunctions. Easy to do for almost any OS of the time, the difference was that this niche was essential for MS while a sideline for IBM. (MS was committed like a pig furnishing bacon for breakfast, IBM was dedicated like a hen laying the eggs!).

History has spoken but the irony is that MS is now the 800 pound behemoth that can find little success and no credit for their work. Windows 8 appears to be less than stellar in its uptake rate and so the flash belongs to that MS Office and Xbox cash cows. Even Apple now finds itself fighting Samsung and Google as the current beleaguered “King of the Hill”. Times do change but cycles will reappear!

FYI: As an IT guy for many years, I worked almost exclusively in the WinDos world from the 80s onward. In 2005, I received a Mac Powerbook from my Mac ‘evangelist’ brother and have never looked back. I do use Parallels to run certain Windows specific software very successfully on my iMac, but I am almost entirely Mac and iOS in my life now.

I bought Parallels just to have access to my crashed Windows XP tax files and to be able to access my old documents.
But I don't have enough experience to know if it's any better than to do a Command Line start up from the boot up.
I believe it is, but I don't know for sure.

Hi, I started with DOS 6.22 and went to Win 3.1 and what a crashfest that was. Next was WIN95, har, same crap, different name. How many times I had to format the drive and reinstall the world, I don't wanna remember!

Flash forward to Win 7, a world of difference! It takes care of itself, no more installing updates, etc, it asks first and does it. How cool is that? No BSOD!

And, I have an original vintage iMac from 2001, works fine and came with a clear pro keyboard and laser mouse for a fiver from a garage sale around 2006. It's cool but there's not much there computer capacity compared to my good old Toshiba laptop [from 2010] I'm tapping this note out on. But, yay!

I like Toshiba, but my laptop was a 2000, and it had heating issues, and I like Windows XP, but My Snow Leopard 24" iMac is much better.
Of course, it's not fair to compare 2000 tech to 2010 tech.
