We call that, Peeing on their legs and telling them it’s raining.” It’s easy to do that with the “Me! Me! Me!” freeloader crowd.
We aren’t allowed to ‘learn’ ANYTHING from Hitler. That would be politically incorrect.
Obama was a horrible speaker and the only way he got through it all was because he was considered “black” (although, realistically speaking, he was only half African and had nothing in common with African Americans) and thus was deified by the media. Without that, Obama would have been nothing. He had no ideas except what were fed to him by his radical leftwing advisers, and because he was black, nobody ever challenged him on either the ideas or his comprehension of them.
However, even if the GOP were to run an authentic, brilliant American black, it wouldn’t count, because conservative African Americans have been read out of the “black race” by the Democrats. Conservative Hispanics are more numerous, so they haven’t quite been read out, but the MSM has marginalized them and is already beginning the campaign to make them disappear just as the blacks have done.
What the GOP has to do is to develop an economically and SOCIALLY conservative message (and not one that tries to be as much like the Dems as possible) and get some people who believe it to go out there and preach it...to everyone.
We didn’t lose because of social conservatism; we lost because nobody believed that the GOP presidential candidate believed in it.
Good Luck because the GOP has become tone deaf.
There’s not going to be anything left in 2016.
The battle is being lost right now. :(
IMHO...
If you have to figure out what your principles are in order to come up with your “message”, you’re sunk.
If you know what your principles are, you’ll know what to say.
Maybe we should have run another actor: Clint Eastwood.
Stuck on stupid can’t learn ...........next! If you are a loser the second time and talk about the next time you are either mentally challenged or stupid, I believe it’s a combination of both
“In 2008, Obama won the country over with his promise of hope and change, but it wasnt just the words he was saying, it was the way he delivered them.”
Yeah, he was lying his *ss off.
But he correctly guaged the intellectual level of the average American voter as being somewhere just slightly above a turnip and slightly below a badger.
Republicans, alas, haven’t yet descended to that level of utter shamelessness.
