Skip to comments. What a 2nd Øbama term will look like? [Vanity]
Posted on 11/03/2012 5:21:38 AM PDT by bjorn14
I've been invited to give post-election analysis on a local TV station and just need some help with what a 2nd Øbama (if he's reelected)would look like? Thanks FReepers.
There is NO Obama second term.
If he is re-elected, it’ll be for more years of the same - continued American decline and hopelessness.
If the country votes for O again, the next four years will be even worse than the last four years we’ve just been through!
Let me see...you have been on FR since a month before the 2008 election with no posts and then you ask this thumb-in-the-eye question???
I say BRAVO SIERRA! Go ask this question of the losers at DU and DK.
Think Argentina with a side of Bosnia
2Trillion/year more in debt. Obama by-passing Congress to make EOs because they will not go along with his agenda. More TV shows so he can rant against the republicans. More Czars...so he can “get things done”.
I’m not spending a dime on non-essentials if 0bama is elected....
Slathered in Greece.
Ditto-----but it ain't happening. The One + Done = Zero
I pray to G-d he is not reelected and I know it will be worse but how much more worse and with specific details. More curbed freedoms, higher unemployment, no growth economy, etc.
I just don’t want to get blind-sided by only being prepared to tell what great things will happen in a Romney Presidency.
Local TV station where?
Post-election coverage of a 2nd Obama term?!!!!!!!
Barf-O-Rama. But too late. Damage. Done. Go if you want to be on TV, but serves no other purpose. Cue up the death panels and IRS Army.
But let’s get out there and make sure that doesn’t happen. Then you can go on explaining a 1st Romney Term trying to untangle the mighty mess Obama has made of this country in just 4 years.
$20 trillion in debt by the end of it.
More food stamps.
Another failed stimulus.
Another 100 rounds of golf.
Greece. System collapse,from debt.
Islamic expansion. Chinese economic dominance.
If he has a republican house and senate, he'll use the executive branch to tie us down with as many regulations as possible. He'll continue to order non-enforcement of existing laws (such as immigration) and create new ones (regulating carbon emissions). Coal will be shut down, domestic oil will be shut down, fracking will be shut down, so that our standard of living will be equalized with the third world.
We can talk about it in the re-education camps, where all the white folks will be placed for their own protection.
Secession by at least a dozen states.
Bronco Bama - the cowboy who whooped up and expanded the stampede, then claimed it was “that other cowboy’s fault”.
It will not be four years of “the same”, it will get much, much worse, with consequences that shall cast a shadow on history for most of the coming century. Look at how the mere four years of Jimmy Carter have greatly assisted in the emergence of the Islamic jihadist threat to the world.
Overthrow of the Shah of Iran, and setting in motion the growth of the influence of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the seeds of the Iran-Iraq continuous warfare that went on until the 1991 invasion of Kuwait (when the world finally sat up and took notice), the creation of the Department of Energy that virtually GUARANTEED this country would not be able to supply its energy needs domestically (and thus funded the exponential growth of Islamic Jihadist movements everywhere), and a set of work rules (OSHA) supposedly for the “protection” of persons in the workplace, but ended up almost as devastating as Obamacare to the operations of manufacturing and distribution enterprises everywhere in the US (and thus assuring the export of manufacturing and distribution to China).
The next four years, if under Obama, will not be merely a “decline”, it will be a precipitious plunge. Not into a depression, we are already in that, but nobody will call the present situation for what it is. ‘K?
The upshot could be a mass secession of several states or entire regions from the parasite the Federal government has become, all in the name of making some kind of “equal” outcome for everybody.
Here’s a video of exactly what it would look like:
“Let me see...you have been on FR since a month before the 2008 election with no posts and then you ask this thumb-in-the-eye question???”
Just checked bjorn’s posting history. Looks like he has quite a few posts.
Hey, that looks like my place right now . . .
brighter days are ahead
Agreed. ESPECIALLY if there’s any evidence of vote tampering. . .
After the first four years of Obumbo, America no longer looks like the country that I grew up in.
I began expat life in 1999, and left for good in 2004.
I can not , in my wildest dreams, imagine living there again.
If Obama gets a second term, it will be lights out in America.
Then, I stand corrected on the posting history - apologies. That said, the question seems nonsensical. In the wake of an Obama victory, there is nothing to say as our fellow Americans are, in fact, unspeakably stupid.
At least, bjorn14 may possibly be able to relocate in Norway. For me, it is sign that my wife and I need to find a new home ASAP (Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Singapore or Bermuda) for the rest of our days as we don’t wish to reside in a country filled with illegal immigrants, dopers and welfare queens that would pull the lever again for this massive hoax.
Point out that tax revenues are only 60% of what the government spends. That would require Obama to raise taxes 40% by his favored solution- not gonna happen. So a second Obama term would mean a continuation of a Japan style lost decade (lost two decades), and perhaps a slide into hyperinflation. No jobs, slow growth, declining wages, no problems solved.
Actually, they would have to be raised by close to 70% (it's not simple addition and subtraction ... simple example ... if revenues were 50% of spending, taxes would have to increase 100%)
I was born here, I'll die here.
Even if it's in a roadside ditch riddled with bullets.
The magnificent independent American middle class will be destroyed and become part of an expanded dependent welfare class.
I hope if you do move to one of these countries, you have a lot of money. You think it's expensive here? Wait till you get to Canada, for example, where taxes on goods and services are astronomical. And what about health care? I can't speak for other countries, but Canada has government health care where you may have to wait years for care, if indeed you are deemed eligible for that care at all. Yes, I know Obamacare is moving in that direction, but at leafy there is a small chance it will be repealed. Also, many of these countries have immigration problems far worse than the US.
Most countries are great to visit, but I wouldn't want to live in any of them. This country has problems, but I believe we can fix them .
“In a roadside ditch riddled with bullets”
...the possibility of such a sad scenario for your demise has gone up exponentially with the Obama-Holder regime. The guns would likely have been supplied by the same folks that brought us Fast and Furious. The perpetrators would be illegal immigrants that dilute our healthcare, educational and welfare systems - YET somehow vote for the traitors on ballots translated into Español.
Canada has drawbacks like no true First Amendment rights and socialized healthcare and French secessionists in Quebec. Prime Minister Stephen Harper is a Conservative and the banking system is built on a stronger foundation. Mortgages are (and have been)granted the old fashioned way and there is no deduction for interest to synthetically boost home values (heck, I’m getting one-third back in tax relief - sure).
Canada and the UK are moving toward Private Medical Insurance (PMI) for better access to healthcare. Laws are changing in Alberta to allow healthcare alternatives like PMI after many instances of citizens getting care in the US and trying to charge the government because they couldn’t wait for treatment. In the UK, somewhere between 15-20% of Britons now have PMI.
Cities like Calgary and Edmonton are like taking the Wayback Machine to the 50’s and 60’s in the US. They still have throwbacks like milk and daily newspaper delivery.
23 trillion in debt
70 million in poverty
70 million on food stamps
8 dollars per gallon gas
Full implementation of Obamacare
Higher and higher taxes
Tighter and tighter government control
The end of the extraordinary experiment of beautiful, free America - soon to be only a memory...
FIGHT!! VOTE!! TAKE IT BACK!!!
Ruger (RGR) stock has quadrupled under Obama. It will quadruple again.
The Second Term will be the very worst thing for Obama. The MSM is slowly turning on him. The groups that supported him will turn on him. The Congress will be GOP and block all this plans. Scandal after scandal will come forth from his early days as a State Senator to his first years in the US Senate. Scandal will hit Michele. He will become the incredible shrinking president. Nothing will get done and the USA will sink more in debt. No progress only stagnation as Obama and his small group of supporters blamed the GOP, Tea Party, George Bush, Talk Radio, and anyone else—for his many failures. I predict he will not serve out his term as President—he will be out—one way or another. So will Biden. Next President may will be Hillary and she will (for her own reasons) clean things up a bit. It will not be a good time for Americans—Unemployment will go to 12% —Dollar falls to 40% of present value— US military crumbles as inner cities explode. Lets hope I’m Wrong.
Not unless she's Biden's replacement as VP or can somehow get herself designated Speaker of the House.
In Drammen, but its broadcast all over Norway...Visjon Norge
Heh. The socialists do not like you, I see ;).
