—The Red Sox were lucky to get rid of their$275 million dollar boat anchors..Not so the Yankees. After what A-Rod stuck them with, one would think they would never offer long term contracts again...Look at the Angels after signing Pujos, the Phillies...it goes on and on with guys sitting back after looting the cookie jar.
Can't wait to see who they pick as manager. My vote's for Varitek..heck, look what Matheny and Ventura have done..The Toronto skipper is a good guy, but they'll want too much in compensation.
