That one sounds intriguing.

But as long as it is cooked, I don’t see that it would matter much.

Not sure, but it is worth a shot at any rate.

I just can’t cook to save my life.
I make armor plating.

It's all kinds of kinky.

It starts with St. Patrick, and some sheep ...

My father, the one responsible for finding this patented bad idea, is currently looking online for precut sections of bison for the recipe.

The brewing instructions for my deathbrew:
[Slings pinged due to having submitted a testimonial. Slings, check out recipe in post 4215]

“WARNING - Not to be taken internally!” - Slings and Arrows

In 12 cup drip percolator pot, fill to 6 cup mark with water.
In filter, put[at least]6 heaping scoops of coffee.
Medium roast works best, just make sure it’s a robust blend.
Found a maxwellhouse ‘medium roast’ that was rather anemic.
Put pinch of salt in filter, about as much as it would take to cover the surface of a dime with one even layer.
This keeps the coffee from tasting burned too quickly, it doesn’t age well brewed this way.

Brew, recirculate if need be, usually not.
Add sugar and dairy creamer.
Creamora and coffeemate are not recommended unless you like the heart racing that Ranger Pudding gives.
That, and the nondairy creamer will give you both a headache and a buzz with the coffee.

I usually put about 8 spoons of sugar in this stuff, it ends up being like Russian Kava, thick and sweet with that bitter overtone to it.

Oh, and I am NOT responsible for seeming demonic possession of the coffeepot, or the coffeepot ending up acting as if it has been damaged.

Do you really drink this?
That brew is half way to being a ‘Class A’ Narcotic!

Yes.
And it doesn’t do much to me.
Others, however, suffer odd side effects.

I somewhat AM banned from brewing the stuff as it does horrible things to the coffee maker.
I miss my old Corningware percolator since it brewed the coffee pretty much spot on to what I describe.
But the wiring on it is over thirty years old and thus a fire hazard.

Get it rewired and fit a new element. There must be someone in NY who does that kind of work.

Must go, take care, GOD bless...

You gave that recipe when I was in TX, and when I passed it around, I was run out of town...

I did inquire about getting it rewired awhile back.
Many places do not want to touch it because it is that old.
Pretty sad, it is a superior coffee brewing instrument.

Safe travels, we will see you when you can get back here.

Welcome, it is the missing piece of the Bison Coffee Marinade.
I don’t actually expect anyone to go through with doing it.
Mainly because I don’t know what to expect from the normal stuff yet.

“You gave that recipe when I was in TX, and when I passed it around, I was run out of town...”

Yikes!

Dunno why that would be.
Just because Texas has deer that have had the coffee wandering around creating havoc, one would think that wouldn’t be an issue with just handing out the instructions on brewing thatt stuff.

Probably to hide the evidence.

So I'm not the only person who has thought about getting a backhoe?
