For homeowners trying to sell their properties themselves, the best advice is usually to keep it simple. That's what the experts do when they put up for sale signs - but not these do-it-yourself realtors. Instead, they've taken a more unconventional approach and included extra bits of information... like the neighbor is an...
However, this New Jersey homeowner is not the first to try radical tactics in the hopes of garnering attention for a property. Another one revealed: 'Husband left us for a 22-year-old. House for sale by scorned, slightly bitter, newly single owner.'
It was put up by Ellie Zober, an Oregon woman who found out her husband was cheating on her.

I was sort of in the same boat but with a happier ending.
Neighbors built a beautiful house but they were as described in the above article. (Shooting guns off the back porch in the middle of the night, riding ATVs everywhere, kids in and out of jail, not paying their share for driveway maintenance, etc).
One day a couple of flatbed trucks were seen leaving with all of their possessions. The house has been empty and decaying for a year and a half and is unlikely to be sold in its poor condition.
But it’s nice and peaceful around here now. Ahhh.
Not my sign, just posted the picture from the link. Funny though.
Then I owe an apology too. I wasn't aware of the 'list' but I'll look into it now. Also didn't see your note to the OP until after I posted it.
The neighbor might be fine. It could be the sign poster who is a rectal opening.
Well, she won’t be getting sued for non-disclosure.
We were going through some old family pictures over the weekend and I threw out the ones of when we used to have neighborhood potlucks in our yard. Liberals have moved in and think they rule. Now days, there are no potlucks and I prefer not speaking to any neighbor.
LOL. Eye of the beholder and all.
LOL. Yes. Sounds like a personal feud.
Might work in Dearborn Heights, MI
Disclosure: My duaghter has a bungalow for sale in DH, Detroit, MI
That might actually generate some positive interest.
Unless someone is looking to move next to an A$$hole, I doubt he’ll have many prospective buyers.
I saw a ‘FOR SALE BY NEIGHBORS’ sign on the net designed to be deployed against the ‘neighborhood bitch from hell’...
Then I'm not interested...
LOL & ^5
I celebrate the availability of the internet every single day!
Everywhere that liberals live there is a growing lack of civility. They have completely turned some rural communities from the neighborly places they once were.
A very stupid move. There’s no better way for a seller to announce to an interested party “I’m desperate to dump this place.I’m willing to give it away”.
Lol. That could be a deal breaker.
In California (I was a realtor for a stretch) if you’re selling a home you MUST disclose if a death occurred there within the last 3 years. It’s the law. Meanwhile it’s ILLEGAL to disclose if somone in the home had AIDS.
The obvious question being...what if they died in the home of AIDS within the last 3 years. Yeah, whatever, welcome to CA.
And I will tell you, in my semi-professional opinion, if there was some item of neighborly nuisance that you as seller had made effort to diminish and were unable to...a seller could be sued for not disclosing that. I don’t know how serious the remedy could or would be, but it you had a neighbor who, say, put on a Nancy Pelosi mask and ran screaming, naked, around the block every night at 3 am, that could do it. Especially if it was a man, LOL.
