Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

Since it is Commando Friday, I have chosen to wear pellucid garments.
Obama promised us the most pellucid administration in U.S. history. I think he meant “polluted.” As in corrupt.

Welp, I don’t think it proves anything about where he was born, but it does indicate a certain willingness to push whatever narrative about himself that would give him the most advantage during any point in his life. As someone pointed out on twitter, when that bio was published in 1991, there was no interwebs for some lowly assistant to go trolling for bios. That publisher got that info from the source, or, at the very least, he (Obama) had to have approved it before it was published. A writer born in Kenya sounds much more exotic.
I think Obama has been patterning his life after Zelig.
No matter how pellucid or erudite the conservative position may be, the liberal mindset refuses to entertain even the thought of understanding it.
