There has been a continuous Jewish presence in the Holy Land/Roman Palestine, Turkish Ottoman Empire Palestine, and British Mandate Palestine for over 3,000 years. That is the claim to the land.

There never was a Palestinian people or nation in history. There are no history books from before Yassir Arafat and Nasser created a “Palestinian people” in the 1950’s, but openly in the 1960’s.

There was no Palestinian nation, government, history, newspaper, international recognition, pottery shards, parchment papers, or anything else to show that a Palestinian people ever existed.

Most “Palestinians” came from Saudi Arabia, Transjordan, maybe Yemen, and Syria. Very few were native born to Israel, even before the 1880’s. Read what Mark Twain and Winston Churchill wrote about that region and who lived/didn’t live there.

I personally believe Native Americans owe the European immigrants and colonialists reparations for not venturing across the Atlantic and providing European nations with liberty and freedom.

His grandson. More likely 1/8th or 1/16th, depending on how they count the two grandfathers/grandmothers and parents.

Of course this all was settled at San Remo when Arabs received enormous formal lands for Arab nations while Israel only received a sliver. Amazing how when the Arabs won so decisively their quest for land, they still are not satiated unless Israel is slaughtered.

Fee,

The Romans DIDN'T disperse the Hebrews. The Babylonians did.

But historically, the Jews remained in Palestine through the Greek epoch, the Roman, the Byzantine and the Turkish eras. In fact, the Turks were running the show prior to WWI and allowed many European Jews who were victims of pogroms in European countries, to return and purchase land outright. Quite a few did this.

The Arab invasion of Palestine is quite recent, really. Arab populations didn't necessarily follow Arab conquests immediately.

There you go ! That land in NYC was, after all, once the possession of one or more Native American tribes.

With the Arabs, esp. the fundamentalist Moslems ones, it is “ALL”, not “share”.

GET THE US OUT OF THE UN AND THE UN OUT OF THE US.

Some of us remember where that adage came from.

Does this mean I have a legitimate claim to South Carolina?

I have high cheek bones just like Elizabeth Warren a white female running for a US Senate seat. She is from Massachusetts and claims herself as a minority group, that is American Indian.

Yes you can have South Carolina but all I want is Texas.

Obama signed the UN Declaration on Rights of Indigenous Peoples

I have at least 10 ancestors killed by Native Americans as they settled Maine and the west. English law said that areas not enclosed were open for settlement and enclosure. They applied that to the New World of 1629. They also paid the chief for the land. They did not know that Indians did not own land.

“What would I be if my grand father was 1/2 Indian?”

That depends upon your grand fathers tribe, and your own sex.

Most tribes are matrilineal.
In my tribe, if your grandmother was a 1/2 breed, and your mother was a 1/4 breed, you would be 1/8 and considered tribal, but as a male...you would not automatically be eligiable for legal tribal status, it would require a special ruling.
But if you had a sister, she would be considered tribal, based on her direct bloodlines.

Different tribes vary. Some few are patriarchal.

Ask your grandfathers tribe of your personal legal standing in his tribe.

The Muslims should return Egypt, Ethiopia, and more importantly, the Second Rome, Constantinople, to the Christians.

I’ve been saying the same thing for 25 years now. Glad I’m not the only one.

the indian treaties, in their time, were probably OK in that we were a wild land with little or no organization. However, after 100 or so years, it was evident that we were going to follow the european style of government and not the conqueror style of things. Organize the country, we did, establish central and local governments, we did, regulate the power of these governments, we did, and allow anyone in the world to come here (legally) and enjoy the fruits of the finest nation ever to be established in the history of the world. Our Indian brethren....well, it's time we let them out of their cages, get them off welfare, let them compete, with the rest of us, for the enormous benefits that this world has to offer.
