I would put him at number two or three responsible for the possible destruction of America

In his defense, however, I have to admit that back then nobody had any real conception of how bad Obama was going to be.

I got serious bad vibes almost from the moment Teddy Kennedy put his arm around him and it went downhill from there.
The crusade against Bush was setting the stage for Obama.
They played on everyone fears over time...the Patriot Act and the War ( notice how we still have the Patriot act and we got involved in several conflicts above and beyond Iraq.
Then the press overlooked or dismissed everything about Obama’s past. I remember election night Peter Jennings? was joking around with several others about not even having had read Obama’s books.
Thats kind of what is bothering me about Romney. The way he is seemingly getting a pass. One of the worst economic times since the depression and he’s yucking it up about grits and so on.

Ted Kennedy did a lot of harm with immigration in particular, IMO.

And Bush Sr and Bush Jr as well.

GW Bush decimated our country with his spending and pandering to the RAT bastard demoRATs. GW Bush's "Islam is a religion of peace", "many roads lead to heaven", McCain-Feingold 2002, Trillion dollar prescription drug boondoggle, No child left behind, doing more to advance politically correct nonsense, and the list goes on. GW Bush may not be in the top 2-3, but he is in the top 5 of the worst presidents of our country. Which is really sad, because if he had any balls or pro-American conservative principles at all inside him, and if had governed as a principled conservative (especially with a GOP House & Senate), he could have gone down as one of America's greatest presidents. Instead he's in the top 5 worst presidents, and for good measure destroyed the Repub party between 2006-2008.
