In a series of tweets over the weekend, Jose Canseco argued that had global warming existed 100 years ago, it could have saved the Titanic. Because we dont recycle and consume like crazy, the former baseball player said, icicles are non existent [sic].
Last month, Canseco tweeted mistakenly about former Vice President Al Gores death, and called global warming skeptics clowns and morons. He also claimed that turning off the heat at night would lower your body temp so u will live 20% longer.

But....!
:Sigh:
Never mind. The gentleman is too dense to understand what is wrong with his assertion.
Give Jose a red nose and a pair of big red shoes because that’s (apparently) his new role in life.
I sure would like to be on his Twitter follower list—lol.
Jose might be one of those people who just found out that the TITANIC was a real event right?

I remember when someone hit a fly ball that bonked Jose Canseco in the head and went over the wall for a home run.
What is it about being a celebrity that makes someone think they have anything to add to intelligent discourse?
Most of them are just dragging down the average IQ of the general populace.
Can you see the post-game interviews in the locker room if it were otherwise:
Skip: What’s your reaction to the Russians announcing their new long range fighter jet and the geo-political ramifications to their opening ales to Iran?
Lou: Given the new leadership in Greece, how do you think the Euro will react to their willingness to make belt tightening changes in government spending?
Gomer: What will be the impact of closing down San Onofre nuclear reactors over the long term?
We could combine the Sunday talking head shows with the game of the week.
I don't think it would have helped. But if somebody had just had a Shop-Vac with a really long extension cord they could have sucked the ocean dry and walked back.
Wouldn’t saving the Titanic made global warming a good thing?
Damned Germans! :)
If Captain Smith had not removed the binoculars from the crows’ nest, The men on watch may have seen the iceberg in time to avoid it. There are millions of factors, if they had been different, would have made the Titanic just another large steamship going between Liverpool and New York.
Steroids to the brain.
