Birth -- no greater joy when there is new life.
Death -- sadness coupled with joy if that life was saved.
Sounded from the post, life was saved, thus sadness to joy.

My brother and I were discussing etiquette.

The thing about engaging in vigorous exercise is that, even though you feel like death warmed over immediately post, you sleep like a log and feel very good the rest of the time. Don’t forget about the increase in stamina. Believe me, I wouldn’t be an insomniac (as in now) if I could still do that stuff.
Kind of like the National Bureau of Inappropriate Behavior (NBIB). You say it should be NBIB? That would be too appropriate. (I was president in the ‘80’s. Please drop my name anytime *giggle*.)

It seems I recall that, but again, it was his death that changed the way medicos looked at exercise. I’m a definite carnivore, including dairy products, but fortunately, I’ve been blessed with a system that takes care of any cholesterol.
And it is not unusual for me to walk a mile or more in 20 minutes, allowing time for traffic and a couple of lights.
Not bad, for an old broad!

We had lovely storms last night, making our lawns and gardens very happy. Supposed to be upper 90s again this afternoon, though. I need to go to Walmart.

Humidity is up again today but for now, there isn’t much cloud cover. Still, the weather map shows T-storms coming up from the southeast. A long line of them. *sigh*
I will go out EARLY in morning and walk to Walmart to get my stuff done.
