We are a group of Latino Republicans invested in the growth of the economy and the support of Hispanic communities. Some of us have supported Newt Gingrich from the beginning of his campaign, and others of us have supported you. Our purpose here is to advise you that those of us who have stood by you are now withdrawing our backing in favor of Newt Gingrich. We’ve come to our decision based on our belief that your support of the Hispanic community is not a clear representation of what we need.

Everything that comes out of the mouths of liberal black leadership is devisive and based upon the color of skin. Whites are ALWAYS labeled racists and frankly at this stage of the Obama administration, we're overdosed with it. Just about every TV show we watch on Netflix has a black sidekick or primary character, not so for Latinos, Asians or Native Americans, and I find that discriminatory.

Don’t worry. The same people that supported the invaders in Yugoslavia are running our government.

The woman I dated was a sociologist and interviewed a lot of them as part of her thesis on race and genocide.
She loves America but has some issues with being on the receiving end of American JDAMs.
Well, that’s some good news. I heard his speech to the Hispanic Leadership Conference (I believe that was the group) and it was excellent. He dealt with things like securing the border, the necessity of learning English and American history (and learning English and American history applied to native Americans as well!), developing a guest labor program and a visa program that actually worked (administered by one of the credit card companies, for example), and resolving the situation of people who had lived here a long time so that we wouldn’t be redoing the “amnesty” thing again.
While the audience was Hispanic, most of them were not immigrants themselves, but probably children or grandchildren (or even more) of immigrants, and he also made it clear that while immigration might be a particular concern to Hispanics because the proximity of their countries meant that there were more of them than other groups, it was a mistake to think of immigration as the only thing of concern to the Hispanic community.
He also discussed things other than immigration, such as trade with Latin America to keep the Chinese out, a firmer position against Latin American dictators such as Chavez and an awareness that letting Chavez, Castro and others pal around with Ahmadinejad and let him onto our continent was a serious mistake that should be dealt with.
And, of course, he pointed out that as the economy improves under him, as it surely will, all of us of all ethnic groups will do better, and since Hispanics have historically liked being entrepreneurs and starting small businesses, his simplification of tax and regulatory policies was going to be of particular benefit to them.
So I thought it was a remarkably good talk and it seemed very well received. It was not condescending, not separatist, not Socialist...just very positive and good.

Fact is MOST illegals have always been Mexicans.
Sure, there are other folks come here as illegals but they simply don't have the mutual support network the Mexicans do ~ they know this country like the back of their hands.
Note: If you talk to Africans who have watched American and Mexican movies a lot (we are second in line to the Indian movies ~ they have more music) they really can't tell the difference between Americans and Mexicans ~ even think both countries look the same. This is true in much of Asia as well.
Back to the main point ~ because of that mutual support network you find Mexicans coming here to work for a while. They send money back home. Then they leave and somebody else comes up to work and send money back.
It's tough, but for the guys here for the money they put up with privations in the US they wouldn't tolerate in Mexico.
As the man said "It's the money". There is likely more stability in the numbers than most of us realize.
Actually, the executive can declare it in the country’s interest, and accept illegals into the military, and if they serve honorably, they can be put on a path to citizenship. So that part of the dream act pretty much already exists, and we don’t need a new law to liberalize it.
I'll quote the relevant problematic parts:

This at a time when Obama is cutting the military, so we don't really need to hire illegals to fight for our country, much less give their families amnesty for it.
Under that same pretense, would those of us born in the United States, but have parental ancestry from Mexico, Venezuela, Columbia, Cuba, and other Latin American countries, be dishonest in claiming ourselves as AmericansWhat they are talking about is birthrite citizenship, the perverted system by which mexicans or others can illegally sneak into our country, and if they manage to drop a baby while they are here, that baby is given immediate citizenship, which opens the doors for the extended family.
It is clear to us that you have not provided a real solution on behalf of the 12+ million immigrants who live in the shadows of the American communities.That's illegals -- but this organization doesn't believe in illegals, as you can see from their description.
You fail to dignify the economic refugees who reside, work, pay taxes, and are otherwise productive citizens in this country.Remember, they are talking about illegals -- not "citizens" as they call them.
In stark contrast, Mr. Gingrich has a true history of supporting our community.The 12 million illegals who this groups calls "productive citizens".
Newt Gingrich is the only candidate that has offered a humane approach to our immigration problem. He understands how inhumane and unrealistic it is to deport 12 million undocumented immigrants.Again, we are "inhumane" if we want to deport people who came here illegally -- not just an argument that it would be hard to do so, but that it would be morally wrong.
... recognize the remainder through temporary work permits, and through establishing legal status for those with American sponsorship and deep ties to their communities.Work Permits for all may make sense, to force them out into the open, and then when those permits expire, we can have them leave. The rest is praise for Gingrich's idea to judge illegals not based on their crimes, but by who they can bribe to speak on their behalf, and on the vagaries of "community boards" meaning different treatment for the same issue. I don't expect to deport all the illegals, but I want the choice to be made by the COUNTRY, since it is the country giving these people a pass, not a county, or a city.
Under Newt's plan, the illegals just have to make it to the liberal enclaves where the community boards will approve them, then they can come back and swamp our communities as "legal" residents. That's no way to run a federal immigration policy -- it's one of those cases where Newt was so smart he came up with a rediculous plan that makes no real sense but "sounds good".
Romney may in the end be no good at all on immigration, but this group endorsed Gingrich because they trust Gingrich to be better for illegals than Romney. Newt Gingrich proposes to push an essential part of the Dream Act which offers citizenship to those young men and women who serve in the military. Newt Gingrich supports a referendum for the people of Puerto Rico to decide between independence, statehood and continued commonwealth status. Newt Gingrich has for years shown active support by reaching out to us, our organizations and our community to better understand the real concerns of American Hispanics. His interest in us did not begin last Tuesday in a Florida debate.
Illegals are nothing but government growth hormones.
But they can't come back unless they win.

Carlos Perez, one of Ronald Reagan’s closest Miami advisers and a Radio Mambi talk host who is influential in Florida’s Cuban-American community, says there is growing resentment among Hispanics due to “lies and distortions” from GOP candidate Mitt Romney targeting former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
Perez told Newsmax in an exclusive interview Saturday afternoon that a backlash is brewing against the Romney campaign’s allegation that Gingrich tried to undermine former President Ronald Reagan’s agenda.
Perez was a close adviser to President Reagan, and Reagan even acknowledged his Cuban-American friend’s achievement during a State of the Union address.
“Among Cuban-Americans, you can bet your life Newt Gingrich will win the primary election,” Perez flatly predicted.
Perez, host of a popular Miami radio and television show, said Hispanic voters and especially Cuban-Americans are now “backing Newt Gingrich dramatically” and “getting a little bit mad at the Romney campaign.”
Perez endorsed Gingrich’s presidential bid on Monday. On Saturday, he told Newsmax that the buzz in the Cuban-American community has turned strongly pro-Gingrich.
“I have not seen one Republican candidate in the last 20 or 30 years that has the knowledge, the experience, the ability, and the great ideas that Gingrich has, not only with respect to Cuba, but with respect to other situations,” Perez said. “…I feel there is going to be a tremendous reaction in favor of Gingrich among the Hispanic and the Cuban voters here in South Florida.”
Perez says that Cuban-Americans have been impressed by the fact that Gingrich has vowed to back a “Cuban Spring” — promising to back an overthrow of the Castro regime.
Gingrich said this week that as president he “will not tolerate” the continuation of the Castro regime and will back a democratic uprising in Cuba, much like the one Reagan backed in Poland under communist rule.
Gingrich’s pro-democracy comments for Cuba are the strongest of any presidential candidate since President Reagan, Perez told Newsmax.
Cuban-Americans have lauded Reagan’s strong support for pro-democracy movements throughout the Caribbean and Central and South America.
Perez said Cuban-Americans are “extremely concerned” that Romney has tried to distort the historical record.
“Newt Gingrich without any question follows those ideas,” Perez told Newsmax. “And it is a shame that Romney’s attack is trying to distort that. That is not nice, that is not fair. It is creating a backlash among Cuban-American and other Hispanic voters here in South Florida.”
Gingrich’s effort to win over Cuban-Americans in the waning days of the campaign in Florida have been bolstered by the former Rep. Dan Burton’s presence with him on the campaign trail.
The Indiana Republican is revered in Cuban-American circles for co-sponsoring the Helms-Burton Act, which bolstered international sanctions against the Castro government.
In 1996, as part of a crackdown against the Castro regime, former President Bill Clinton signed the Helms-Burton Act into law.
“He’s an extremely popular man among Cuban-Americans,” Perez said of Burton, “because he’s a co-author, along with Sen. Jessie Helms, of the Helms-Burton law that is one of the best laws that has been implemented in the U.S. Congress against Fidel Castro.”
Perez said that the buzz in the Cuban-American community has turned strongly pro-Gingrich.
He added that Cuban-Americans are skeptical of the pro-democracy pledges made by the other candidates during the GOP debate in Jacksonville.
“Cubans have been, let’s say, vaccinated by all the politicians who come here during elections and make empty promises,” Perez told Newsmax. “For 50 years, we’ve been hearing the same thing.
“But who is the true person who could really make some basic changes concerning the situation in Cuba? That’s Newt Gingrich. He has the ability, the personality, to solve problems, and he is a man of great intelligence,” he said.

The American revolution would have never happened if it were easy to simply run away. Canada was British so that was off the table for escape and the Royal Proclamation of 1763 slammed the door and forbid colonists from crossing the Appalachians. It didn’t tale long for the pressure to build.
It needs to happen with mexico.
And for those who are happily supporting this continuing invasion, nothing but traitors and will be remembered as such.

They’ve sold their souls, will lose because of it, then blame someone else.
“Then, there’s the solution ~ induct them, arm them, send them to Mexico to fight the Narcotrafficantes. But they can’t come back unless they win.”
