We are a group of Latino Republicans invested in the growth of the economy and the support of Hispanic communities. Some of us have supported Newt Gingrich from the beginning of his campaign, and others of us have supported you. Our purpose here is to advise you that those of us who have stood by you are now withdrawing our backing in favor of Newt Gingrich. We’ve come to our decision based on our belief that your support of the Hispanic community is not a clear representation of what we need.

Obviously, I’m not saying we should have asylum for all illegals. But if you want to send them back, you can’t expect them to simply go back on their own just like that.

They are supporting Newt’s plan to deal with Illegal Immigration which has discussed in multiple debates and is a real solution protect our border.
Newt’s plan is to surrender the country to lawbreakers. We already have a solution, it’s called enforce the laws already on the books. Oh yeah, fix the anchor baby misuse of the constitution. If we need any Mexicans, we’ll take the law abiding ones.

It is a problem in the sense that it’s a source of illegals who will try to do anything to get here. We have a much larger border with Canada and we don’t have to deal with swarms of Canadian illegals sneaking into Minnesota.
Until Mexico gets its act together, we’ll always have a border problem no matter what we do on our end.
I for one haven’t forgotten the threat that came from La Raza and related groups a few months back about their numbers being almost enough to retake “their” land by force if need be.
I dated a Serbian woman who told me that this is how Yugoslavia was lost. Decades of nothing being done, followed by decades of talk, followed by action that ended with a US led bombing of the original victims.
This is good news. It also shows how fluid the votes are. Glad you posted it.
Especially now that Romney is trying to portray himself as the “child of Mexican immigrants.” There is no depth to which he will not stoop. I hope real children of Mexican immigrants laugh their backsides off at him.
