I think I had those same pants Jessica is wearing in 7th grade.
I finally figured out what Jessica reminds me of....the Phillipino Karaoke babes in the bars overseas....they were fantastic at mimicing...(and evidently judging by Jessicas performance here....SCREAMING too....I am not liking this screaming version of Try a Little Tenderness
I’m not even sure WHAT that was!
OK, I was wrong. But she still needs an upper molar.
I think Miss Sanchez just screamed at me.
Should I be scared?
That was awful. She just screamed the whole song. Her first song was great, this was just all around bad.
ONly if she also has a Fiddle ;-) LMAO
I think Ryan does that because he is flashing back to the days when he was either picked last or not picked at all for Dodge-ball...
Great armchair psychoanalysis. I agree that Ryan has some deep need to lord all the judgments over the contestants. What about the wishing them “luck” right before he tells them what has already been cast, what he already knows, and is on the card in his hand??
If I wasn’t watching... I’m not sure I could have known if it was her or Joshua...
She can certainly sing. But I’m tired of the screaming. That seems to be her way of hitting the upper register.
She's back with Otis Redding's "Try A Little Tenderness". More growl-singing. Her "tenderness" sounds very angry.
Steven: You've done it again. Love that you're stepping out. It's about winning these peoples' heart. Come on.
J-Lo: America has got to start connecting with you here. Just the voice ain't gonna do it, but because when it comes to voice, you it!
Randy: People respond to the emotion. You can sing like nobodies buisness.
I know several hispanics who look asian. It confuses me.
I didn’t like either song she sang tonight. And I don’t care how much the judges carried on like silly fools over her, I GOT EARS!
What’s kind of sad, Jessica does have a nice powerful voice, but that growling and screaming and the judges obvious favoritism doesn’t do well for her.
Oh no the stalking fiddler is back.
She's 15 and 36 pounds. I think you'll be okay. :-D
LOL I was going to say that MC Hammer wanted his pants back!
Skylar doing a nice job on "grapevine" -- she is the one to beat.
*SNORT!*
I can see a lot of people line dancing to that version of “heard it through the grapevine”
They probably had to glue Obama’s hand to his chest.
Rofl! And only because it was an election year!
