Are we supposed to care that Powell is not sold on Obama in 2012???

he has totally discredited himself for endorsing the empty Armani suit in 2008!

Powell votes by race. He has already said so. In 2008, race triumphed over reason.
Powell and a lot like him (Noonan, Brooks, etc) are responsible for America’s continuing fall.

Why should anyone care about what an affirmative action hire who should have been driving a bus (by his own admission) thinks?

Powell is being disingenuous and everybody knows it. All Powell is doing is setting himself up as the grand master kingmaker. There is no doubt in my mind that Powell will announce in October 2012 that after long and thoughtful consideration that he is heartily supporting Obama for re-election. It seems that to Powell skin color trumps all else.

I wonder if the dispute with Cheney will reveal just how liberal and thus race-conscious is the retired four-star general and former Secretary of State.
How dominant is race? Does it matter more than anything else? IOW is he far enough left to use race and start screaming Racism!

Right you are Obadiah.
Hey Powell, go back to dancing on stage with that African hip hop band Olu Maintain, you sad dope, and to think you fooled the Republican country club all these years. |

At one point in time I had a lot of respect for Gen Powell. He lost that respect with his endorsement of Obama.
Gen Powell took an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. He willfully and with full knowledge lent his name to an enemy of the people of the United States. His word on anything cannot ever be trusted again.

Powell should have retired his professional career straight from the military

As soon as Powell endorsed The Lyin’ King, we knew where he stood. (And most of us KNEW even BEFORE that!)
To: Why So Serious
Make no mistake about it, Powell will support "his bro" Hussein wholeheartedly. He's only hesitating now while he pretends to weight the issues.

I see where Mr. "I'm a Republican but vote Democrat" Powell has come out from where-ever he's been to talk down Dick Cheney's new book.
What a jerk!

GHWB heeded Powell’s advice, and stopped the Gulf War ater 100 hours. The majority of the administration, and most of the military wanted to go for Bagdad, take down Saddam. Just think how different the world would be today.
History so far has given Powell a pass. In time, it will turn out to be viewed as the single worst decision since Munich....

Powell shot himself in the foot with his 2008 endorsement of Obama. He thought it would guarantee him a place in the Obama administration, however Obama and the democrats want nothing to do with him because of his connections to the war in Iraq and the Bush administration. By endorsing Obama, Powell is now persona nongrata in the Republican party as well. He is literally a politician without a party.

Powell needs to put himself out of his misery and change party affiliations to Democrat. He is no Republican and certainly no conservative. GW Bush learned that the hard way.
