Does the Fitch rating make you feel better about the economy?

You betcha. Fitch based its decision on facts, S&P was playing politics.

Sort of. The reaction to S&P's decision made me nervous about the future.

No. S&P's decision shook up the financial world and the damage has been done.

I don't understand these ratings and what they mean. Who are these people, anyway?

The numbers have been phony for a long time, IMHO. Getting harder to ignore the reality.

Thanks to GopherBroke for the ping!

FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)

Other, the us credit rating had been marked down for some time by the other rating agencies. I wouldn’t give it anything north of a C.

Pure loaded dice here, you can vote YES, or yes or no but snp is bad or Im too stupid to know why Im voting.

America is deeply in debt, printing money to bail out the boat and borrowing more. they Deserve DDD not AA+ on any planet but Media America.

But we are not allowed to think that way on TV. Der Furher will explain with cartoons for us. Why is FOX serving coolaid?

Look at Anthony Sanders blog:

Can you safely say that we are in good shape and won’t default.

And bear in mind that Fitch is under investigation by the Fed.
