"We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!" President Bush
The big news of the day is the death and burial at sea of Osama bin Laden. Thank you, President Bush and the US military (including my son and future son-in-law) who made this day happen. Other news is the nuptials of William and Catherine in Great Britain. May God bless their union and draw them close to Him in Jesus Christ. Alabama (my state) and other southeast states continue the task of digging out and rebuilding. A massive effort is underway with able bodies and supplies needed.
My Mom always talked to my Dad and I in the early morning and neither of us appreciated it. So, one morning Dad told Mom that he could cook his own breakfast and mine too, and she could just sleep in.
That took care of that crisis - never did see Mom before 8:00 a.m. after that!
Last week, while walking in my house, my back “popped”. The meetings have not helped it so today I went to a “doc-in-the-box”. I now have some pain killers and an appointment for an MRI on Friday. BUT, I am not responsible for anything I say and do for the next few days until this pain subsides. LOL!
I'll try talking to him sometime and see how well he likes that! So there!
Glad you’re getting the MRI. Have fun in La-La Land, in the meantime...
Toby, today's picture is from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Miss you!
I have a sister who won’t talk in the early a.m. Her husband makes the coffee, she will sip the coffee, read the paper and fuss around. Along about 0800 she’ll “good morning” then is silent for more minutes. It’s nutty. Of course when my feet hit the floor, there’s lots to say.

Hope the MRI shows results that can be treated and get you on your way to recovery. I have another GF that’s also having back pain, doing the MRI’s, etc.
good morning all
When you get back are you going to smoke her?
It's raining like crazy here and we're under a tornado watch. My garden needs this rain. Thank You, Jesus.

I’m not sure I like the tornado watch part, but since they just tried to burn Texas down, I really, really like the rain part!
Take care and don’t go out in the tornado if it shows up, you are still in recovery from the last accident you had!
Me? Go out in a tornado? Why? Is there something out there I should see? Maybe I should check!! ;)

Good morning. Today's picture is from Jupiter, Florida.
Kudos and Bravo to the LSU students who exercised their free speech and prevented a low-life professional student from burning a flag yesterday. The grad student was chased off campus to the shouts of "Go to hell, hippie" and "USA, USA!" There is hope for America.
A special “Toby” ping.
Good morning.
Had some huge thunderboomers here last night. Hail, too.
Hail, not good. I hope everyone was alright?
Good morning everybody, checking in. Mr. Prairie has a doctors appt this afternoon and I plan to go with him, so trying to get ahead of the game, multi-tasking this morning.
yes, I loved the LSU response to the would be flag-burner. We need more people standing up and putting their foot down on these leftist shenanigans.
Everyone is fine. Hail did beat the heck out of some of my geraniums.

I sent a note to Allie, Toby’s granddaughter.
Hopefully he is okay & with the heads up he will wander over to FR.. wondering if he is having computer issues still
Big storms going through here.. been busy in yard past few days.. lots of clean up & did my first mowing (everyone else on road has done MANY)
Seeing play Chicago again this weekend. A friend is in it (little theater locally)... very well done production. I did photo shoot at dress rehearsal and then saw it last weekend
Still missing mom. Despite our differences, mom is mom
