MSNBC is running LIVE COVERAGE of the Elizabeth Edwards Memorial service, covering it like a STATE FUNERAL!
What office did she hold, and why is she deserving of LIVE COVERAGE???

I get it. She was a wannabe ‘Jackie Kennedy ‘ to the Breck Girl’s Nouveau JFK. Almost counts.
NOW, the Breck Girl can play the sympathy card AND get a hot, new wife to fit the bill for another run at the White House. It’s all about style over substance. Repackage and re-run.
Gotta get the last bit of PR out of the wife- and they’re using it.

If the the Democrats were thinking clearly they would believe her to be a bad Democrat.
She was aware of the past affair while John was running for President and while he was being considered as Obama’s VP choice. If he had been nominated for either post, the affair would have been revealed in the general election and would have cost the Democrats a lot electorally. Only a bad Democrat would allow the possibility of that happening.
She allowed it. Clearly she was selfish and did not put the Democrat party first.

Before we got Fox, and before it became rancid, we watched MSNBC. They had live coverage of the services for Barry Goldwater, Sonny Bono and Tammy Wynette (and no doubt others I can’t remember).

I think it is more like sympathy — and for someone who life tossed a lot really, really bad things she handled them in ways that I think deserve respect.
Oh Please can we just say good bye and get it over with? From what I’ve read over the years she was a phony as her husband was and while I feel bad for anyone who battles cancer she is no more important than the other millions who have.If I really said what I felt I’d be bounced out of here but let’s just say I have a song from the Wizard of Oz stuck in my head since I heard the news.....
My friend posted on his FACEBOOK page that she was an inspiration to women. REALLY? Because she talked about her cancer publicly. GEE, nobody does that these days. Look, anyone dying young is tragic. But to lionize this woman, who, by most accounts, was a raving bitch, is ridiculous. She was a shyster’s wife, and apparently a shrewish one at that. There, I’ve said it.

I don’t have the TV on, but y’all have GOT to be kidding!! I’m sorry the poor woman passed away, and I feel bad for her children, but she’s just the wife of a failed Vice-Presidential candidate! Surely such coverage of the wife of a failed Vice-Presidential candidate has never happened before. Give me a break.

She’s dead but her family is still with us.
One of my very close friends is in stage 4 right now...and just wrapped up round 4 of chemo in November. Her new scan results came back yesterday...two more tumors popped up in her lungs.
I highly doubt this young amazing mother of 2 will get coverage on MSNBC when she goes...but then again she wasn’t a former Senator/trial lawyer’s liberal wife.
My heart goes out to Edwards soul and that she is at peace from this horrid illness.

That said, let me define "hypocrisy." Hypocrisy is honoring a woman whose life was devoted to the ghoulish promotion of snuffing out as many pre-born infants lives as possible. This person was Elizabeth Edwards. Is THIS a person worthy of your honor and "respect"?
