Jeez yer kinda late posting this thing!
Looks like Rangers survived the eighth inning this time. It will probably be their only win though.
Looking forward to Halladay vs. Lincecum tonight. That should be a great duel.
No team so embodies Ancient Baseball as the New York Giants. The team of Christy Mathewson, Joe McGinnity, John McGraw, and Mel Ott was once a major (perhaps the major) powerhouse in the Majors. What storied baseball field conjures up images of mustachioed "batsmen," "Casey at the Bat," and Cracker Jack than the Polo Grounds?
I haven't watched a World Series in a long, long time. If I do I'll root for the National League team (as always).
Even if the Phillies win, considering that prior to 1980 they appeared in only two World Series (1915 and 1950) and lost them both, I don't really mind their success of recent decades.
Hey Yankees, “Who’s your daddy?”
Except for one inning, the Rangers have completely owned this series.
Texas must be tired.
0-5, Third Inning
NY is kicking their butts today.
5-1 TX
I hope this doesn’t turn out to be a repeat of Game 1.
Stand up double for Young.
TX can taste victory — if they don’t get too excited and blow it.
Forced walking Hamilton again. Hope that bites them in the butt again.
Walking Cruz.
That will be BASES LOADED.
Time for a GRAND SLAM.
Young scores. 6-1 TX
Still 2 on bases 1 and 2.
5 outs to go...
4 outs to go...
3 outs — one inning — to go...
The taste of victory...
Arlington can see the World Series from their front porch.
I’m glad now that NY won the last game to bring this back to Arlington.
The fans deserve to have the series win at The Ball Park in Arlington.
