I don't see how a traditional "parent/child' relationship can exist when the child is the family breadwinner.

Legally, I think, she’s an ‘adult’ at 18. Ironic, since adulthood used to be 21 when people actually matured earlier.

But, Miley could be 12 and get an abortion without her parents’ permission.
