Imprisonment is quite enough. We needn't pile on. It is not appropriate to kick a man when he's down.
If we need long sentences, great. If we need to cut costs, make prisons less costly. If we need capital punishment, convict, sentence and carry it out quickly.
But humiliating suicidal people is immoral.

Suicide watches are not intended to be humiliating, the prisoner is stripped naked, the cell should be in the guards immediate line of sight and should have nothing in it the prisoner could hang with. Things may have changed, any corrections officers on here?
