Imprisonment is quite enough. We needn't pile on. It is not appropriate to kick a man when he's down.
If we need long sentences, great. If we need to cut costs, make prisons less costly. If we need capital punishment, convict, sentence and carry it out quickly.
But humiliating suicidal people is immoral.

It’s from the AP, so recognize that it’s automatically a partial truth, at best. They probably make ALL prisoners wear something stupid, which I would support. And ALL would include those who are suicidal. But that wouldn’t play on your sensibilities like making it sound as if they purposely pick on suicidal people.
