You wrote that the church that Jesus founded was “the Catholic church.”

Why do you need to add a qualifier to “church.” No, Jesus’ church is not “Catholic.” Jesus’ church is His church — the body of believers who’ve been adopted into His family.

I am really stunned by how you love your denomination more than you love the Savior, how you reject those who follow Christ because they’re not members of your branch of Christianity, how you defame as illegitimate my baptism into Christ because the ceremony was performed outside of your denomination.

Jesus is my high priest. I have no need for one of your denomination’s priests, whether he be a pedophile or otherwise.

Here’s a serious question: Do you love Jesus? Is He your Savior, and your Lord? If so, perhaps try harder to exalt Him, at the expense of all else. Do you know my denomination? No, you do not. Because I promote Jesus, not my denominational

Wow, you leap to conclusions and have no basis for doing so. Jesus did, in fact found and establish the Catholic Church.....think about it, in the year 807....was there any other Christian church than the Catholic church.....nope....the bible must have been written by someone.....the lutherans, the methodistd, the mormons, the adventists, the baptists, the church of the nazerine, the church of what’s happening now......No, it was the Catholic church who wrote, protected, recorded, copied, saved, and gave to you the gift of the bible.....say thanks.....no further adulation necessary. I don’t love my “denomination” (Catholicism is not a denomination....it is Christianity) more than the lord, but I know how to obey Christ. Catholicism is the only “religion” which follows the teachings of Christ to the letter.. A quick example......when Christ, at the last supper said “take this and eat, This is My Body”....He meant it, and Catholics believe it..Our eucharist is actually the body, blood, soul, and divinity of our Lord....to the protestants it is basically remembering what happened. How very sad, Jesus left us the Eucharist and the protestants turned it down......can you believe it?????

Regarding the Roman Catholic “Eucharist” ...

That is a horrendous perversion of Scripture. Consider what Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 11:23-29, for example. Paul identifies the elements as “bread” and “the new covenant in [Jesus’] blood.”

Yes, you profane the body and blood of the Lord when you take the elements in an unworthy manner, but those elements remain “bread” and “wine.” And we take that bread and wine “in remembrance” of Jesus’ sacrifice.

Who am I to disagree with Scripture? No, I will agree with Scripture, and, like Paul, consider the elements to be “bread” and “the new covenant in [Jesus’] blood.”
