i need that in my back yard in about 3 months...
If the laser isn’t attached to a frickin’ shark’s head...I’m not interested.
Worth watching the video!
PLEASE tell me this was not paid for with stimulus money!
“A lot of people have asked us why we don’t use fly spray. Well, where’s the sport in that?”

Looks very kid-safe.
“The mosquito’s a clever little bastard. You can track him for days and days until you really get to know him like a friend. He knows you’re there, and you know he’s there. It’s a game of wits. You hate him, then you respect him, then you kill him.”
Turn your frequency generator into a
super powerful mosquito repeller!
Dragonflies are the mortal enemy for mosquitoes and in flight they generate sound frequencies (approximately) between 67 Hz and 45 Hz, depending on their sizes.
56 Hz is a good average number in between those frequencies. Your PC sound card and speakers will work well for this purpose. There are many sound and tone generator programs available on the internet for both the Mac and Windows PC. If you do not have a sound generator program, you can download a free version for Windows HERE.
Setup your computer with the sound/tone generator program running and then play the sound through your computer speakers. The speakers can be aimed directionally for complete room coverage.
The sound level on the speakers should be adjusted so it is barely audible. This arrangement can be setup in a bedroom where you would like to have the window open but are worried about mosquitoes. One speaker should be fairly close to where you are sleeping.
Here are some links to more advanced tone generator software which can actually sweep between the 45 Hz and 67 Hz frequencies:

This same setup can also be used with various advanced frequency generators such as the GB-4000 or an EMEM Ray Tube device. Instead of using computer software, just program the chosen frequencies into your frequency generator and run them in the desired area. Many users report that this setup will keep mosquitoes away in an area of over 60 feet from the generator.
I wonder how he targeted and tracked the mosquito?
If we can target a mosquito, we can target an ICBM. Bring back “star wars”.

Bump for afterwork viewing. This could be really cool, you could set it to cover a area diameter of your choice, maybe kill flies too?
Hey, mosquitos have feeling too. That’s torture.
This one is a parody, but don’t miss it!

Cute....BUT....
Even the July 2007, Nat Geo admitted there is nothing more effective AND SAFE than using DDT in these 3rd world environments.
That could replace skeet shooting!
The artistry of the video stirs two reactions in me: one is that the video brings up memories of filmed footage of B-17’s being shot down over Europe, and how sad that has always made me because you often don’t see any parachutes. Another reaction is that that mosquito is also going down smokin’, and I stood up and cheered.
And to think I used to have to use a magnifying glass for the same results over 40 years ago.
