I think you're right. The Vikings are stronger and faster but the Saints at home in the Dome cheered on by who dat fans are fun to watch. Its a party. :)

We sent him some $$$ about a week and a half ago.

It was when he was polling -9, before his money started to roll in, so we think it helped (well, we'd like to think that...LOL).

FR is so slow lately. I’d say its due to the election but its been slow for a couple of weeks. Once the polls close it will be impossible to keep up with any thread tonight.

Could be tough, so far it's been good this afternoon.

I remember how hard it was the night of the 2004 election. We got home from working as poll watchers and it was very sloooooow.

Since FR has lost a lot of regulars over the last year or two I'd hoped it would faster than usual when a "big" event is happening. Doesn't seem to be the case.

Saints beat the pillaging nordic hordes in OT!

That was a squeaker. I have to admit, I'm exhausted from watching the dang game, plus......they got reeaaally lucky at the end.......

Geez, all those turnovers were painful to watch.
Still both teams did well, and the best team won.

I’ll be rooting for New O’leans in the Superbowl.

It was one of the most exciting playoff games I've seen.

I almost felt sorry for the Vikes.....then I realized you needed to be sassed.

OMG! dem SAINTS are going to the Super Bowl.... Not as fans but as players!!! Suited up in their uniforms, on the field and actually playing in the Super Bowl!!!!!

Playing against our Archie’s son.

Archie’s son will be playing against his dad’s old team, against the city where he was born, where his parents still live, against the team he cheered for when he was a child.

Oh, well, we'll think about that tomorrow or maybe the day after or the day after that... Right now, we celebrate an amazing victory. It took 43 years! but dem Saints are NFC Champs and they are going to the Super Bowl.

Our New Orleans son is visiting his sister in Germany. We were emailing live during the game, he was having his first heart palpatations.

One of his comments: *Grrrr....why can't the Saints learn to fall on fumbles!*

To be honest, I thought the Saints running back fumble on the fourth down play in OT should have given the ball to the Vikings plundering teutonic hordes who live in the real tundra. They got their luck when they needed it.

FOFLOL Honestly? The Saints really have played better games but when they won the toss in OT I just knew the win was inevitable. Still, it was hard to breathe til it happened. Drew Brees said pretty much the same thing about that toss.
